Online single submission or OSS is an information technology-based licensing system that integrates regional and central licensing in order to facilitate business activities in the country. Online single submission or OSS is also a mandate from Presidential Regulation Number 91 of 2017 concerning the Acceleration of Business Implementation.

Online Single Submission is a business licensing system that is integrated electronically with all state ministries/agencies (K/L) to local governments (pemda) in Indonesia. This policy was taken by the government in an effort to improve the national economy through the growth of the business world, which so far has complained about the length of time and bureaucratic chains that must be passed to start a business.

Online single submission or OSS was launched on July 8 2018 in order to simplify the business licensing process. Mentioned for the first time in Presidential Regulation Number 91 of 2017, the rules for implementing OSS are contained in Government Regulation Number 24 of 2018. So, if you want to start a business and have even started a business but don’t have a business license that you have, then you should pay attention to online single submissions.
